Welcome to the VAC
This group is for artists who are looking to connect with other local artists in the community, participate in social drawing nights and networking opportunities .
To join the VAM Artist Collective, you do not need to be a VAM member.
Should you wish to become a VAM member, you help support Arts & Culture in Mississauga and VAM’s three pillars of excellence: Education, Exhibition and Community Engagement.
VAM Membership entitles you to many perks & opportunities as outlined below. Cost is $35 + HST for a year.

Join us online or at Visual Arts Mississauga for creative opportunities this Spring. Digital & traditional artists are welcome.

Figure Drawing
Join us online with your drawing tools to develop your figure drawings.
Artist and Designer Aankshika Bheem will lead a mini workshop on drawing the stylized figure.

Drawing in the Garden
Enjoy time drawing en plein air in Riverwood Gardens. Bring your drawing or painting supplies, camera or iPad for a social drawing evening. Dress for the weather. Rain date is June 2nd.

Throughout the year VAM keeps the idyllic MacEwan Cottage Studio overlooking beautiful Riverwood forest, open exclusively to members who wish to work outside their studios. Cost $5 half day/ $10 full day – Please contact the office for exact dates/times.
